Terms of Service

The rules and responsibilities that apply when you use CertSeries.

Effective and last updated: July 31, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form an agreement between you and CertSeries (“CertSeries,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They govern your access to certseries.com, our applications, courses, test series, videos, live classes, study materials, communities, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

By creating an account, purchasing a plan, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Eligibility

You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to use the Services. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you may use the Services only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. A parent or guardian who permits a minor to use the Services is responsible for that minor’s activity and compliance with these Terms.

2. Accounts and security

  • Provide accurate, current information and keep it updated.
  • Keep your password, sign-in credentials, and verification codes confidential.
  • Use one personal account unless we expressly authorize another arrangement.
  • Do not sell, transfer, share, or allow others to use your account or paid access.
  • Notify us promptly at support@certseries.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

You are responsible for activity conducted through your account to the extent permitted by applicable law.

3. Educational services

CertSeries provides exam-preparation and educational resources, which may include question banks, mock tests, performance analytics, notes, videos, live classes, recorded classes, doubt support, certificates, and community features. Your plan determines the content, features, duration, and usage limits available to you.

Our materials are intended to support learning. We do not guarantee selection, admission, certification, employment, a particular score, or any other examination or career outcome. Examination patterns, syllabi, dates, eligibility rules, and official answers can change; always verify important information with the relevant official authority.

4. Payments, subscriptions, cancellations, and refunds

  • Prices, taxes, plan duration, included content, and billing terms are shown at checkout.
  • You authorize us and our payment providers to process the applicable charges.
  • A recurring subscription continues for the disclosed billing period until cancelled through the available account or app-store controls.
  • Cancellation normally stops future renewal; it does not automatically refund an already completed billing period.
  • Purchases made through Apple, Google, or another marketplace may also be governed by that marketplace’s billing and refund rules.
  • Refund eligibility is governed by our Cancellation and Refund Policy and applicable consumer law.

5. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • copy, record, download, redistribute, publish, sell, or commercially exploit protected content except where we expressly allow it;
  • share paid content, screenshots, question banks, videos, PDFs, access links, or account credentials;
  • scrape, crawl, harvest, or use automated tools to extract content or data without written permission;
  • bypass digital-rights management, access controls, rate limits, payment controls, or security protections;
  • reverse engineer or interfere with the Services, except where applicable law expressly permits it;
  • upload malware, attempt unauthorized access, probe for vulnerabilities, or disrupt other users;
  • impersonate another person, submit fraudulent information, or use the Services for unlawful, abusive, or deceptive activity;
  • harass others or post hateful, obscene, infringing, misleading, or privacy-invasive content; or
  • use CertSeries content to train or build a competing dataset, product, model, test series, or service without written authorization.

6. Intellectual property and licence

The Services and their content—including questions, explanations, course structures, videos, graphics, software, branding, compilations, and databases—are owned by or licensed to CertSeries and are protected by intellectual-property laws.

Subject to these Terms and your applicable plan, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access the Services for your own non-commercial learning. No ownership rights are transferred to you.

7. User content and communities

You retain ownership of lawful content you submit, such as comments, answers, profile information, reviews, or community posts (“User Content”). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, format, and display User Content as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and improve the Services.

You represent that you have the necessary rights to submit User Content. We may moderate or remove content that violates these Terms, applicable law, or the rights and safety of others.

8. Third-party services

The Services may rely on third parties for identity, payments, video delivery, cloud hosting, email, analytics, notifications, live classes, or links to external resources. Their own terms and privacy policies may apply. We are not responsible for an independent third party’s services, content, or availability, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

9. Availability and changes to the Services

We work to keep the Services available but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, updates, network failures, security events, third-party outages, or circumstances beyond our control may cause interruptions. We may improve, replace, discontinue, or change features and content. If a material change significantly affects an active paid plan, we will provide an appropriate remedy where required by law.

10. Suspension, termination, and account deletion

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access if you materially or repeatedly violate these Terms, create security or legal risk, misuse content, fail to pay applicable charges, or harm other users or the Services. Where appropriate, we may provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.

You may stop using the Services at any time and may request deletion through our account deletion page. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including intellectual property, payment obligations, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms—will survive.

11. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CertSeries and its owners, personnel, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, opportunity, profits, goodwill, examination attempts, or career outcomes arising from the Services.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid to CertSeries for the affected Service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. This limit does not apply where prohibited by law or to liability that cannot legally be limited.

13. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify CertSeries against third-party claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the Services, your User Content, or your material violation of these Terms or another person’s rights.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us so we can try to resolve the dispute informally. Subject to applicable consumer-protection law, disputes will be submitted to courts of competent jurisdiction in India. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking urgent protective relief or using a remedy available under mandatory consumer law.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Services, law, security practices, or business operations. We will post the revised Terms and update the effective date. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide additional notice where reasonably possible or legally required. Continued use after the revised Terms take effect means you accept them.
